This call aims to initiate research to identify common measures and indicators applicable for monitoring the progress of quality of life among cancer patients and survivors across EU countries, Iceland and Norway.

The application of the European Forum for Primary Care (EFPC) to be part of the WHO Civil Society Commission has been accepted. Maria-Louisa Busuttil, Executive Committee member of the Europe Region who sits at the Advisory Board of EFPC, will represent the Forum at this WHO Commission.

The Europe Region of World Physiotherapy held an event at the European Parliament on Physiotherapy in Mental Health on the occasion of World Mental Health Day. The event, that took place on the 11th of October 2023, was hosted by MEPs Maria Walsh (EPP) and Alex Agius Saliba (S&D). The recording is already available!

The 14th General Meeting of the Europe Region of World Physiotherapy will be held in Riga, Latvia on 23rd and 24th May 2024.

The EU funded project InAbled Cities, coordinated by the Europe Region of World Physiotherapy, came to an end in June 2023. The main Intellectual Outputs of the project that promotes physical activity in open urban areas for people with physical disabilities and older people are already available on the Europe Region’s webpage.
