With sedentary work on the rise, physical inactivity has become a major risk factor for musculoskeletal pain.
This webinar, hosted by the European Pain Federation (EFIC) and the Europe Region of World Physiotherapy, explored the role of movement in preventing and managing pain in office workers and remote employees.
The event, which took place on Tuesday 15 April 2025, served as the culmination of the Move At Work campaign developed over the last year by the Europe Region of World Physiotherapy in collaboration with the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) ‘Healthy workplaces’ campaign.Â
EFIC introduced the On the Move campaign, which highlights the benefits of physical activity in pain prevention and treatment and which messages are in line with the Europe Region and EU-OSHA campaigns.Â
The recording of the event, which grabbed the attention of 300 people all over the world, is now available on the Europe Region YouTube channel!
Even though the Move At Work campaign has ended, you can still participate by sharing the materials available on the website with the hashtag #MoveAtWork or send an email to secretariat@erwcpt.eu with the subject line: Participation Move At Work Communication Campaign, to receive the materials for the whole year.
The Europe Region would like to thank EFIC for the collaboration and the speakers for their participation in the event:
