On 13 February 2024, the Europe Region of World Physiotherapy attended the event held by the European Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE) and Childhood Cancer International - Europe (CCI-E) at the European Parliament on the occasion of International Childhood Cancer Day.

At this annual event, the European Paediatric Cancer Community Manifesto: Cure More, Cure Better and Tackle Inequalities, was launched and Members of the European Parliament who attended were invited to sign it.

In close relation to this, the International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP) is looking for physiotherapists with expertise in childhood cancer from all around the world to participate in their future projects.
