The European Commission has launched a Call for Evidence to shape the EU’s future Cardiovascular Health Plan inviting input from citizens, patient organisations, NGOs, healthcare professionals, research and technology organisations, academia and other interested parties.

The upcoming plan, inspired by the EU’s Beating Cancer Plan and expected later this year, aims to address cardiovascular diseases challenges with initiatives focused on prevention, early detection and screening, management and care, and rehabilitation and recovery.

The call provides an opportunity to share scientific evidence, propose key action areas and share views on the main problems.

The deadline for providing feedback is 15 September 2025.
