On Friday 17 October 2025, the Europe Region of World Physiotherapy held a webinar to explore the role of physiotherapy in the economic system. The session focused on the profession’s economic impact, which is one of the three pillars of physiotherapy as a healthcare profession. 

Expert speakers discussed how physiotherapy not only improves health outcomes but also has an economic impact and plays a vital role in building more sustainable healthcare systems. The objective of the event is to support Member Organisations in engaging effectively with stakeholders and influence policy decisions.
